An old proverb says a fool and his money are easily separated. In this consumer culture of ours, that separation has never been faster or easier. And so we spend all our waking hours trying to earn more. There's got to be a better way.
Our money articles will guide you toward wise financial stewardship including ways to stay out of debt, get out of debt, save more, tithe more and buy wisely.
They say time is money. For anyone still getting started in a job, that's debatable. But one thing's certain -- time is limited. You can't sock away minutes in a time savings account. With time there's only one option: spend it. And how you spend it makes all the difference.
So how should we spend our finite days; to make the most of them?
The Psalmist said, "Show me, O LORD, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life" (Psalm 39:4).
But just counting our days isn't enough. So like David, we pray, "Oh! Teach us to live well! Teach us to live wisely and well!" (Psalm 90:12, The Message).
