The past year has been heavy. Investing my time and money in some fun experiences has paid off in greater happiness and better mental health.
Like wearing bow ties, being yourself is cool. Sure, your real self may be rejected, but the more you practice vulnerability, the better you get at it.
“You’re a human being, not a human doing,” someone wrote to a graduate I knew. I guess my attempts, even ones that feel like failure, can have some value.
If you find yourself with zero motivation, you may need to start pushing yourself. But if you struggle to rest, force yourself to set some boundaries.
Whatever your situation or status, you can and should have relationship goals. Aim high this year, knowing you’ll be building a foundation for the future.
I think we all know of life areas we should be working on in order to be ready for whatever God calls us to in the next 12 months.
